NOTICE OF ELECTRONIC PUBLIC MEETING

Pursuant to the provisions of Executive Orders No. 2020-15 and 2020-75 (and subsequent Executive Orders) issued by Governor Gretchen Whitmer, notice is hereby given that the Garden City Library Board will hold an electronic public meeting on June 9, 2020 beginning at 7:00 p.m. This meeting is a regular meeting called by Board President Paul Werhane and the Library Board.
The reasons for holding an electronic public meeting are to limit the spread of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) and to remain in compliance with Governor Whitmer’s Executive Order 2020-21 (and subsequent Executive Orders), which prohibits any public gatherings.

Instructions for Public Comment:
Electronic Attendees will use “Raise Hand” function and will be allowed to be called upon.
Telephone Attendees will be placed in queue by pressing *9 and will be identified and called upon by the last four digits of their telephone number.
Normal public comment protocol will be followed.
The electronic public meeting will be held as a Zoom meeting. The public may participate in the electronic public meeting by logging into https://us02web.zoom.us/join on their computer, tablet, or smartphone and following the instructions provided or by calling 1-888-788-0099 on their telephone (Meeting id: 884 3314 1698 Password: 331478). Through these methods the public will be able to listen to all discussion by Board Members and will be permitted to speak as they would at a regular meeting. Electronic attendees will click on the “Raise Hand” feature and will be allowed to speak when called upon. Electronic attendees must have microphone capability on their device. Phone attendees will be placed in queue by pressing *9 and will be identified and called upon by the last four digits of their telephone number.
