The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)

This program is surplus government food distributed on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at Maplewood to low income families and seniors. To receive food commodities, clients must register in TEFAP at Maplewood. Families and seniors must qualify as low income. Please contact the Maplewood Center for these guidelines at (734) 793-1850.

 Lunch Program at Maplewood Center

Tired of cooking? Want good company for lunch? Are restaurant meals costing too much? Join us at the Maplewood Senior Center on Monday through Thursday at 12:00 pm noon for good food and companionship! For ages 60 and over, a nutritional hot lunch program is available. Reservations must be made 24 hours in advance. Menus are posted at the center and in the Senior Echo. A $2.25 donation is encouraged.
